Just read James Tanner's blogs. http://rejoiceandbegladinit.blogspot.com and http://genealogysstart.blogspot.com. You will be glad you did. I'd venture to say he is the best genealogy blogger out there if you want plenty of information that's up to the minute. He's your man.
