Family Search Site Map~Revisited

When the Site Map was first added to Family Search I looked at it and then pretty much forgot about it.  However this week I was preparing for a presentation and looked at it again.  They have definitely made some improvements and it it a great resource.  You will find it on the very bottom of the home page near Blog and Feedback.

You know how it is when you know you have seen a feature or heard about it on Family Search, you know you have to drill down to find it but you're just not quite sure where to start?  Well Site Map is your new best friend.  It should also be shown to any person just beginning to use FS/FT.  Want a one click entrance to the Wiki-Site Map.  The 1940 census-Site Map.  The SSDI-or the Help Center...Yep Site Map.  Check out the following three section of the Site Map knowing that every entry is a link.  Love this.

I love that this allows us to remember things more easily and not have to search all over when something gets moved during all the updates.  Use it and pass it on to other staff and new patrons if you find it useful.  Sorry the print is so small in order to enable inclusion here as a jpg.  You can take a better look right here:https://familysearch.org/site-map
